Big data, AI scoping tool wins bronze at Campaign’s Creative Tech Awards.

London — 13 June 2017– ScopeTM  won a Bronze award in the Breakthrough Technology category at last night’s Campaign Creative Tech Awards 2017.

Campaign’s newly launched awards recognises ingenious and collaborative thinking in the use of technology across marketing, advertising and media. The judging was chaired by Google UK consumer marketing director Graham Bednash. Bednash led a judging line-up that included: Anna Rafferty, Director of Digital Marketing, BBC Worldwide; Ed Freed, Chief Operating Officer, Code Worldwide; Matt Gee, Head of Digital Transformation, Isobar; Victoria Buchanan, Executive Creative Director, Tribal Worldwide London; and Scott Ross, Chief Technology Officer, International at DigitasLBi.

“In winning this award, ScopeTM has been recognised by the industry as one of the most exciting technologies to come out this year”, said Tracey Shirtcliff, founder and chief executive of The Virtù Group. “The award is testament to the vision, skill and ingenuity of the Scope team. I’m very proud.”

Scope has been created to tackle the industry-wide issue of inaccurate scoping. Widely recognised as the primary reason why agencies fail to make the money they should.  The clever SaaS tool uniquely uses big data, AI, algorithms and statistics to create cost and effort predictions for a piece of agency work. It aims to stop agencies from underselling themselves by giving them real insight into what to charge and what to include in their project and job scopes. There’s nothing else out there like it.

Scope took the bronze award in a worthy race with MysteryVibe – who won the top prize, and R/GA for Nike who were awarded Silver. A full list of winners has been published by Campaign.

Those working at the coal-face will have the opportunity to explore the why, what and how’s of the award-winners at a post-awards ‘scrum’ event in London on 5 July 2017.
