We do not offer products or services for use by individuals for their personal, family or household purposes. Accordingly, we treat all personal information we collect as pertaining to individuals in their capacities as representatives of the relevant business and not their individual capacities.

(i) SCOPE Better acts as a controller of your personal data when you sign up for our services, visit our websites, or interact with us through other means, such as participating in webinars or attending in-person events. We use this data to deliver and improve our Service, communicate relevant content, and promote our offerings.
(ii) SCOPE Better acts as a processor when our customers use SCOPE Better to collect and process personal data in connection with their business activities. In this case, we act as a processor on behalf of our customers (who are controllers of the personal data) under the Data Processing Agreement included in our Customer Terms of Service.

Metadata includes information on how, when, where and by whom a piece of content was collected and how that content has been formatted or edited.
2.2 Data Submitted Through Our SCOPE Better Platform
Our SCOPE Better platform lets you manage your own data, like client details, rate cards, and scopes of work. In these cases, you are the “data controller” – you decide what happens to this data. We’re the “data processor,” which means we handle the data on your behalf, following your instructions and keeping it secure. We won’t use this data for our own purposes.
2.3 Third-party sources.
We may combine personal information we receive from you with personal information we obtain from other sources, such as:
- Public sources, such as government agencies, public records, social media platforms, and other publicly available sources.
- Social media sources. For example, we may maintain pages for our Company on social media platforms, such as LinkedIn and other third-party platforms. When you visit or interact with our pages on those platforms, the platform provider’s privacy policy will apply to your interactions and their collection, use and processing of your personal information. You or the platforms may provide us with information through the platform, and we will treat such information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
- Business and marketing partners, such as joint marketing partners and event co-sponsors and business partners that share your contact information with us if you have expressed interest in our Service or the types of products or services we offer.
- Chat technologies, our chatbot provider(s) may access and use information about webpages visited on our website and support pages, your IP address, your general geographic information (e.g., city, state), and other personal information you share through online chats for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
- Third-party log-in services, such as authentication providers and social media services, that you use to log into, or otherwise link to, your SCOPE Better account (e.g., log-in via SSO or your email provider). This data may include your username, profile picture and other information associated with your account on that third-party service that is made available to us based on your account settings on that service.
